Simone Biles and fiancé Jonathan Owens announced their engagement the day after Valentine’s Day by sharing photos of the outdoor proposal with their combined seven million Instagram followers.
In an interview with the Today Show, Biles even followed up by proclaiming that the ring is her “most prized possession” and that “it definitely beats a gold medal.”
The couple also revealed that the wedding planning has officially begun and lucky for us – the beautiful bride-to-be has graciously shared a few pictures of her wedding dress options. The Israeli brand, Galia Lahav, is the bridal designer of Bile’s choice.
The post stated, “It’s official: She said ‘YES to the dress(es)!’ We are over the moon and so honored about gold medalist and mega-athlete Simone Biles becoming a GL Bride! (Not the chosen ones, but a sneak peak of Simone at her fitting.”
Galia Lahav is also the designer of Beyonce’s 2018 vow renewal dress and Paris Hilton’s recent nuptial ensemble, so we’re sure that whichever dress Biles decides on will definitely be one for the books.
Biles and Owens plan to wed in 2023 and are even working towards purchasing a home together.
