Over recent weeks, we’ve seen a rise in a notorious trend that’s taken over street style and runway fashion. From Lizzo’s bright pink Maison Valentino dress to Ariana Debose’s star-studded appearance at the Maison Valentino runway show, Barbiecore is taking over wardrobe statements in vast ways. “Barbie style is all about looking pretty in pink,” says Vogue on the trend. “While Barbie pink may be everywhere right now, the hue belongs to Pierpaolo Piccioli, as far as fashion’s concerned. Valentino’s creative director dedicated his entire fall 2022 collection to hot pink, which was developed in collaboration with Pantone.”

Antics aside, Barbiecore is another term for living life in pink or as most call it, “La Vie En Rose.” There are many ways to style this notorious Pantone color. Whether rocking a dress or a pair of work pants, this staple hue is bold and daring, and surprisingly,  in all of the right ways. Below, are a few looks we’ve seen on the streets and on the runway.
