Check out how people have been getting into the homecoming spirit.

Bryson Tiller Pulling Up To Morehouse College Homecoming

It’s not rare for celebrities to pull up to a HBCU homecoming. Bryson Tiller is currently making his rounds as he visited Morehouse College as well as Howard University. As expected, the students went wild. It isn’t quite clear on who had a better time; Tiller or the students.

P-Valley’s own, Brandee Evans hopped out of the Pynk and came to the Bluff! The actress was spotted on stage at Southern University’s concert and the crowd loved every minute of it. Some people commented that she should have done some pole tricks but let’s remember that this is still an educational institution with children under the age of 21 in attendance!

Heading down south for homecoming is a totally different ball game. Everything from the culture to the parties to even the personalities, are turned up a few notches. Clark Atlanta University is know for being THE party school out of all the other HBCUs in Georgia. Naturally, they did what they do best: party.

Let me tell you something. When it comes to a HBCU homecoming game, the band is going to EAT every time. But looking deeper into the band, the drum majors always bring the energy we need. Someway, somehow they always seem to defy gravity, surpass a normal human’s limber limits all while simultaneously entertaining the entire crowd, including the opposing team.

One of the best parts about homecoming is the amount of food and liquor that is passed around on the yard. Everyone is family and will treat you like such. Don’t you dare walk around with an empty plate or an empty cup, because you will for sure have several people making it their mission to fill that up for you.

Of course, with homecoming brings a reminder that your previous classmates only grew finer as the years went on. Ladies, you may have several people who are going to try to shoot their shot all these years later, but don’t fall victim to it! Stay strong. You are here for one reason and one reason only, to enjoy homecoming with your people. Don’t get wrapped up in drama that you don’t want to bring back home with you.

There’s nothing like your first HBCU love. Seeing your old boo back on the yard years later may bring back some feelings that you may not have been ready for. Make sure to tread lightly! If you’re ready to open that door up again, go for it. But if you are happy and at peace in your life you should think twice before opening up a can of worms you closed many semesters ago.

This is a reminder that homecoming is for everyone. So please be mindful of the old heads whoa re also there to reminisce on their time at their alma mater as well. Yes, they may be loud and rambunctious but wouldn’t you do these same at that large age? This is a time for everyone to enjoy themselves no matter how old you are.
