One day after the release of his film, Forbes officially deemed Lebron James as a billionaire. This makes him the first active NBA player to make the billionaire’s list. The Laker’s point guard has a myriad of ventures including Lobos tequila, Uninterrupted and Spring Hill Entertainment which made $121.2 million last year alone. He also has several business deals and partnerships with brands like Nike, AT&T, Blaze Pizza and Tonal. In total, all of his endorsements and other business ventures raked in over $900 million in income.

Michael Jordan is the only other NBA player to hit the $1 billion threshold, however it wasn’t until 2014 when had already been retired for over a decade.
