Myricks, a self-taught makeup artist, is constantly in a state of play. She often explores new and innovative methods for developing glamorous looks that instantly catch the eye. The 21Ninety Beauty Awards winner offers a range of products, but gleaming chromatic looks is the brand’s specialty.
“I really wanted the palette to be easy and fun while inspiring everyone to experiment and play. It’s about confidently leaning in to how you want to authentically show up in the world,” she said in a recent interview. “My greatest wish is that people use this palette as an affirmation.”
The 18-shade palette is divided into three different levels of energy: soft, bold and grounding. The soft row brings light, ethereal, color-shifting shades that work best as shimmer toppers or highlights for high points on the face. The bold energy level is a “sensorial experience” with eight colors that guarantee to amplify and elevate a look. The grounding row adds instant depth, working great on their own and perfect as a building block for any of the other finishes. Myricks said that the three levels in the chrome makeup palette help “bring positive and uplifting energy at various levels of reflection.” Each color combination blends together to create an incredible, unique makeup look.

“When layering chrome shades, there are key ways to get the biggest payoff from the color shift and the shine depending on the look you are trying to create,” she said. “Creating contrast in texture and tone will be the tool best used to dial up or down your desired chrome effect.”
