Actress Tia Mowry will not be paying anything in spousal or child support after her split from former partner Cory Hardict. The Blast first made this news public. The publication was privy to the legal documents declaring the agreement between the estranged couple. The documents also reveal that Mowry and Hardict agreed to share joint custody of their two kids Cree and Cairo.

The duo agreed to evenly split the costs involved in raising their children’s upkeep. The bills include fees for private school tuition and extracurricular activities.

A Favorable Split

Along with not having to pay anything in spousal or child support, Tia Mowry also gets to keep the house she shared with her ex-partner. The “Sister, Sister” actress and twin sister to Tamera Mowry will get full ownership of the $4.3 million home located in Studio City.

As Redfin shares, the home “is a 4,871 square foot house on an 8,496 square foot lot with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. This home is currently off the market – it last sold on October 30, 2015, for $2,600,000.” The home is said to have exponentially appreciated in value.

Other Amicable Clauses

To finalize their separation, the couple entered several amicable agreements to ensure seamlessly shared custody of their children. They also hope to protect their children from any unstable relationships either party might enter in the future. According to one of the clauses, “Each party is restrained from introducing the minor children to a new romantic partner until the party has been in an exclusive relationship with the romantic partner for at least six months.”

Another part of the agreement states, “Each party is further restrained from permitting his or her new romantic partner from spending overnights with the minor children with that custodial parent during the first six months of the exclusive relationship.

The agreement prohibits the estranged couple from speaking ill of each other in front of their children. The couple separated in April. Mowry announced the separation via her Instagram.

“We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives,” she wrote in her caption.
